The Year 2020 was a challenging year to all of us and indeed all over the world. We thank God for being among those who made the year 2021,
Across the country we witnessed unprecedented economic challenges as a result of the pandemic which slow down the economy in year 2020. NIMechE is no exception along with other professional bodies whose activities were affected. Despite various challenges, we continued to drive our events and programmes as we observed the COVID 19 protocol while many of our events were hosted online.

It is important to remind us that the pandemic is not over year. Towards the end of last year, our country began to experience second wave of the pandemic. It is a crucial moment for us as this new wave is trigged by a new strand of the virus. In this regard, we all should endeavour to observe all safety protocol and stay at home when we have nothing much to do. Educate our respective household on how to protect themselves and play our part.
We use this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to our Institution, both individual and corporate bodies as well as all our donors. In 201, we should come together and uplift our institution higher.
