Welcome to the official website of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the Umbrella body of Nigerian Mechanical Engineers.
NIMechE is dedicated to promoting the Mechanical Engineering profession and its interrelationships with other branches of Engineering in Nigeria and the Diaspora.
The Institution is made up of Professionals drawn from all fields of Mechanical Engineering including Industrial and Production Engineering, Thermo-fluids power plants and Energy Studies, Automobile Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Design, and Manufacturing.
Any person who desires to be admitted into the Institution must satisfy the conditions of membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and subsequently make a formal application to the Institution:
