Fellow Mechanical Engineers, the Year 2021 was very challenging for our country and indeed the entire world. Our Institution also passed through some difficult moments which, by God grace, we were able to overcame at our last Annual General Meeting.
I welcome you to 2022 with all the optimism and positive expectations as we embark on journey toward rebuilding our Institution and setting it on pathway to leadership among other Divisions once again.
Our primary focus will be to set out bold vision toward assisting members in their quest for professional fulfilments.
Together with my new team, we are committed to embarking on innovative programmes and implement more welfare and professional developments for both our young and senior professionals.
We are also looking at our members in entrepreneurial sector and will looking forward to build formidable network among Mechanical Engineers across the country.
Mechanical engineering is a versatile profession with many prospects. Let us all come together from our various specialisations to contribute to our collective growth and national economic progress.
NIMechE under our administration will play crucial roles in ensuring that members are professionally empowered toward taking advantage of the changing global innovation environment.
It is my belief that the year 2022 will open up floodgates of opportunities for us, both from professionals and personal angles.
I urge us all to put the past behind us and unite as we move our Institution forward.
Mother Teresa of Calcutta once said: “None of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”
We are going to walk this journey together and I am excited at the future that lies ahead of us;
I am using this opportunity to thank you very much for your supports and also looking forward to greater NIMechE.
I wish you and your loved ones, happiest New Year filled with prosperity.
Long Live NIMechE
